How to train with positive reinforcement (timing and reward)

Define the behavior. Just one: sitting, looking at you, or approaching calmly.

Reward instantly. Within 1 second of the right move. Timing teaches more than quantity.

Ignore what you don’t want. No yelling. If they jump, wait and reinforce all four paws on the floor.
