How to delete your account

1. Open the petducator app or the petducator.com website and sign in.
2. In the app: go to Profile and choose Delete account.
3. On the web: go to Profile and choose Delete account.
4. Confirm in the dialog. Deletion is permanent.

If you cannot sign in, write to us at hello@petducator.com from your account’s email address and request deletion. We process these requests within a reasonable time (usually a few days).

What is deleted

• Your login account (email / sign-in identity)
• Profile (name, photo, cover, and profile data)
• Pets, reminders, and associated care data
• Posts (adoptions, lost/found, etc.)
• Comments, reviews, saved items, and community activity
• Push notification tokens

What may be retained

• Pet-friendly places you suggested to the directory may remain anonymously (not linked to your account), because they are part of the public map.
• Minimal records we must keep for legal or security reasons (for example, technical logs) are kept only as long as necessary and are not used to identify you in the app.

Delete data without deleting your account

On petducator you can request the deletion of some of your data without closing your account. Steps:

1. Sign in to the app or to petducator.com.
2. Posts: in My posts / each listing, archive or delete the content you no longer want to show.
3. Pets and reminders: in Profile → Pets, edit or delete profiles and associated tasks.
4. Profile / cover photos: change or remove them from your profile settings.
5. Saved: remove places or listings from your saved collections.
6. If you need to delete something you cannot remove yourself, write to hello@petducator.com stating which data you want deleted (without closing your account).

Data you remove stops being displayed immediately. Copies in backups or technical logs are purged in normal cycles (usually within 90 days), unless legally required to be retained. To delete your entire account, use the section above.
