How to teach your dog to look at you when they hear their name

Teach a look on their name—no yelling, no nagging.

    Say their name in a cheerful tone. Just once, clear and friendly. The name should sound like something good.

    Reward eye contact. The moment they look at you, give a treat or a pet. Reinforce the look, not the shout.

  3. 3

    Repeat in short sessions. 3–5 tries a day are enough. Consistency beats marathons.
